Crochet Table Cloth

Crochet Table Cloth : Fair & Square Love

I made this crochet table cloth, sometimes in April this year, and finished it on the 1st of May. I am so happy to share with those who love crochet, especially the one who love making crochet table cloth or something like that. Its free pattern, so you may download its PDF from my link below, except that some of the pattern like fillet one, I just drew it separately in PDF version. I hope you would not get trouble to understand it. In case you have any question, please DM me through my Instagram.

This project is inspired by one the book that I’ve read. It’s called “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah. Once you open this book, we will meet the Allbright family. Ernt, Cora, and their daughter, Leni. This book reminds me the worthwhile constant in my life, helps me learn, grown, empathize, to be more love, patience, forgiveness and sometimes escape (though there is a time I don’t agree how cruel it was when a husband like Ernt could not control his temper). Before the war, they were happy. He had nightmares and trouble sleeping. He was moody and quick to anger. The terrible weather in Alaska has brought out the darkness in him again when he suppose to love and be fair to his wife who always patiently, try her best to control that kind of situation even though she was hit by her husband so many times. Therefore, love is should be bigger than you are. We can invite love, but we cannot dictate how, when, and where love expresses itself. It is a force of nature. It doesn’t allow destructive and abusive behaviors to go unchecked. It should speak out for justice and protests when harm is being done. Overall, it’s not just the Allbright family morale. It is also about the world is in crisis around us where people are scared with everything that is happening. But still love is everywhere.

For this project I used Milk Cotton Yarn 5 ply, no. 3 DK/light weight (80% of cotton and 20% of fiber, milk) called DuriYarn I bought from Pinky Frog Shop. You may purchase this kind of yarn through Shopee, Lazada, Ice Yarns, Spotlight and so on with variations of colors, but of course with different price offer. Before you choose to purchase you might want to compare the price according to your own choice. Anyhow, you can also use any kind of yarn you prefer to as long as it is suitable for making a comfortable project just like this.

Hook size I used: 3.5 mm or whatever size you prefer.

Some of my project views for your inspiration.

I hope you would enjoy making this project.

Happy Crocheting and Happy Reading.
